Lux La Croix

Née en 1985, Lux La Croix a grandi à Marseille. Elle vit actuellement entre Sète et Marseille.
Après des études de lettres modernes puis de cinéma, elle dirige sa carrière vers le son à l’image. D’abord comme designer sonore et monteuse son dans des studios de films d’animation à Paris, ensuite comme preneuse de son sur des tournages de films et de séries.
En parallèle, son parcours artistique est pluridisciplinaire. Elle participe à plusieurs projets artistiques, créations vidéo et de clips musicaux, créations sonores pour le théâtre ou des expositions d’art contemporain.
Productrice de musique électronique et DJ, elle est à l’origine de plusieurs projets musicaux allant du rock électronique au métal industriel et la techno. Depuis 2016, elle fait partie du duo La Croix Et La Bannière, projet avec lequel elle a sorti plusieurs titres et albums sur des labels techno français et internationaux et se produit régulièrement en concert dans des clubs et festivals.
Baignant dans un environnement artistique influencé par le graffiti, le tatouage et l’art contemporain, c’est en 2018 qu’elle commence réellement à peindre en utilisant différentes techniques notamment la peinture acrylique.
En 2019, elle expose dans la galerie Back Jump à Marseille.
En 2022, elle participe à l’exposition collective Solidarit’ Art à Est galerie à Paris, au profit de la protection de la forêt Amazonienne.
En 2023, elle a vendu plusieurs toiles sur la plateforme de vente aux enchères Invaluable.

Septembre 2024, à l’Atelier d’Emma à Saint-Raphael, FLUCTUATIONS, une exposition qui regroupe des œuvres marquant différentes étapes de sa carrière d’artiste jusqu’à ses dernières créations.

Born in 1985, Lux La Croix grew up in Marseille. She currently lives between Sète and Marseille.

After studying modern literature and then cinema, she oriented her career towards sound in visual media. She first worked as a sound designer and sound editor in animation studios in Paris, and then as a sound recordist on film and television sets.

In parallel, her artistic journey has been multidisciplinary. She has participated in various artistic projects, video creations, music videos, and sound productions for theater or contemporary art exhibitions in Bordeaux.

As an electronic music producer and DJ, she has been behind several musical projects ranging from electronic rock to industrial metal and techno. Since 2016, she has been part of the duo La Croix Et La Bannière, a project with which she has released several tracks and albums on both French and international techno labels, performing regularly in concerts, clubs, and festivals.

Immersed in an artistic environment influenced by graffiti, tattoo art, and contemporary art, she began painting in 2018, experimenting with different techniques.

In 2019, she exhibited her work at the Back Jump gallery in Marseille.

In 2022, she took part in the group exhibition Solidarit’ Art at Est Galerie in Paris, in support of the protection of the Amazon rainforest.

In 2023, she sold several paintings on the Invaluable auction platform.

In September 2024, for Atelier d’Emma, she is presenting FLUCTUATIONS, an exhibition that brings together works representing various stages of her artistic career up to her latest creations.
